Nice little story about Edward the Emu who isn't happy being an emu and decides to try out being the rest of the animals in the zoo. Nice little message about being happy with yourself.

I enjoyed Edward the Emu but I love Edwina the Emu! The rhyming was fun and the illustrations were gorgeous. It was a sweet little story.

From the start, when she was not yet a year old, this was my granddaughter's favourite read-aloud book. She loved its rhythm and rhyme, the flow of the story, and the colorful illustrations. She wouldn't sit still for long for other books, but this one held her attention and I loved reading it to her as much as she loved listening to it.
