Biografía breve
Brian Kittrell began writing late in 2008 on his first book, The Dying Times: Nadene's Story. After having received very positive feedback from friends and family, he decided to have the work professionally reviewed. It received a 5-star rating from a reviewer at Midwest Book Review, a well-known name in the review industry. He decided to refine the work and publish it as a testament to his values in quality writing, strong storyline and characters, and as a tribute to his long-time interest in all things zombie.

Book three is Prisoner and Survivor. This book is the story of William and Edgar, two very different survivors who meet up In Pennsylvania. William was in prison for the murder of his wife and her lover. He escapes from prison when the apocalypse is beginning. He hears a voice telling him to go west. Along the way he meets a few other interesting survivors. One of whom is Edgar has terminal cancer and survived. It is thought that something in Edgar’s blood may be the answer to the living dead nightmare. This book was in my opinion not as good as the first two. This however could be just because I am dying to know the conclusion. I still found it a fast paced, action packed, edge of the seat read, just had some loose ends and the longing to know the conclusion. I thought the author did a good job though in keeping the three books connected.… (más)

I am sorry to see this series end. I have enjoyed it. This was an excellent ending to the series. I would recommend you read the other books in the series first. This does not make a good stand alone. The author builds up the characters in the other books so without reading those first, I feel you would be left in the dark often. This book gave me chills and had me holding my breath in several scenes. That Alaska is the land of survivors is a bonus for me. The author wrote the scene in Juneau fairly well with the bridge to Douglas Island and the blocking off of it. I am not sure if the author knows it but we have the Coast Guard close to the bridge making it easy to picture the military at the bridge. There are three other books in the series. Check them out for a scary good time.… (más)

This is the first book of a trilogy named "The Mages of Bloodmyr". It is a very entertaining reading with an easy plot. Laedron is a young sorcerer. His mother is powerful, but he has to learn how to develop his own power through a professor called Ismerelda. The story develops on how the church condemns the sorcerers and how the persecution started. He makes alliance with a group a knights that he is sworn to protect, among which is his best friend Marac. Their brotherhood have a plan to overthrown the church, but it looks like it is a suicide mission and Laedron's group of knights is assigned to this mission. Very well developed characters, very well described world, this is a very well written book that will keep your attention to the end and you will be willing to read the sequel, which I will be doing next.
I recommend this book to the permanent library of any reader who love to be entertained during a weekend with a fantasy theme. It took me around 11 hours to read the whole book.
This book was written by Brian Kittrell and it was published by Late Night Books in October of 2011.

Blurb at goodreads accurate so not going to recap. I enjoyed the read (and although the start of a fantasy series not one of those that plods along endlessly in an effort to be "epic"--you know, the ones where every pothole they journeyed thru and every cottage passed practically has its own chapter). Looking forward to reading the next one.
