Scarlet King

This book is the conclusion to this duet. For which I do have to admit took me a little while to find my flow again with this story as it had been so long since I read book one. Yet, it slowly came back to me. This book picks up from the cliff hanger ending of the first book. So, if you have not read the first one, you need to do so to fully enjoy this book.

Grace, Red, Zeke, Harlow and Eli are all back. I did not have a favorite man in the first book but in this one I did have a favorite and that was Eli. I just felt there was a deep emotional connection between him and Grace. Not that all of the guys did not care for Grace. Also, enjoyed the romance between Harlow and Grace.

The pacing of this story may have started out a little slowly, but it does make up for it in the latter half of the story. A good conclusion to this duet.… (más)
