Claire Jean Kim

I thought this book offered valuable contribution to the field of critical animal studies, and is an essential read for anyone involved in animal activism and working through issues of intersectionality. However, I also feel like from a Canadian point of view, there's some nuance missing in the analyses regarding Indigenous people, issues, and perspectives. That said, it's a great primer, and I think will be a good basis for other scholars to both draw on and build upon.
