After I found out I won a copy of the third book in this trilogy I made an order for the first two. I don’t normally enter giveaways for the last book in a series when I don’t own any other books in it, but this trilogy just sounded so good that I knew I would get to it at some point. Between what the series is about and the fact that there is a blurb on the first book by Tad Williams that says “Like Hemingway meets The Walking Dead.”, I knew I would enjoy these books. So far, I am right.

I flew through this book. I just couldn’t put it down. I love all the characters. Well, most of the characters. I mean I’m not sure how I feel about Clay. Ben is amazing and I think I might be in love with Miranda. Everyone else is just as great. There is so much action, which I love. Plus Ferals! If you know me, then you know I love anything to do with zombies. I just can’t get enough of them.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it, and as soon as I’m done writing this review, I’m jumping into the next book, Rising Tide. I need more of this world and these characters. Please pick this book up and give it a read. It was so much fun.

I won a copy of this book from Goodreads and I am so thankful that I did.

This trilogy is the best thing I’ve read this year. I absolutely loved it and everything about it. While reading this last book, I didn’t want to put it down, but when I had to put it down I struggled. Part of me couldn’t wait to get back to it. I wanted to get back into the world and be with the characters, but another part of me wanted to make the book last as long as possible. I hate that this is a trilogy. I want more.

This last book was great. I usually don’t like that last book in a series, but I really enjoyed this one. All three books were fantastic. I don’t know what else I can say because I don’t want to spoil anything. What I want is for you to pick up the first book, Falling Sky, and give it a read. You wont regret it. I’m already working on getting my mom to read it and after that I will be bugging my cousin. I just loved this trilogy so much and I can’t stop gushing. Please read it. The whole thing. Just buy all three books at once and read them.

This is definitely a new favorite and I will be re-reading these again soon. I will also read anything by Rajan Khanna. But seriously, why did this need to be a trilogy? I need more.

Rising Tide was even better than Falling sky. Unfortunately I got a three-day migraine that forced me to put the book down for days. If I could have, I would have read this in a day.

These books are just so good. I am absolutely loving them. The action is so fun, you can’t help loving or hating the characters. They just feel so real and you want to be friends with them. I haven’t read a book that made me care about the characters like this in a long time.

Other than that, there isn’t much more I can say since it’s a sequel. Though I should warn you, if you decide to read this trilogy, make sure you get all three books. You will be completely sucked in and you wont want to leave this world or the characters. Not to mention the amazing cliffhanger at the end of this one. Man I’m loving these books. I can’t wait to jump right into the last book, Raining Fire.
