Oh finecast, how you failed to live up to your promise! Also in this issue, Dark Eldar, Tomb Kings, Grey Knights, and some lackluster Armies on Parade! The good bits were good but the meh bits utterly meh.

A bit of a lame one this month. It wasn't long after this that I started reading WD again after fifteen years break and its probably a good thing that this wasn't my first return issue or I might not have bothered. The simple problem is that this issue is 90% Dreadfleet, which has some good fluff but mostly wasn;t a very interesting game. Other than Dreadfleet we've got a couple of battle missions and some monster war scrolls and thats about it. Boring!

I enjoyed this one much more than I thought I would. Lots of monsters for fantasy and a good battle report; a really useful modelling section by Chris Peach; Neil Green on painting, Blanchistu, and a couple more battle reports including a dragon hunt for LOTR. All in all a good issue.
