There are two types of text on each page, large and small; younger listeners can follow the large text, and those with longer attention spans can hear the more detailed information provided. Illustrations are fairly realistic and some have interesting perspectives, such as a slanted birds'-eye. A drawbridge is shown in the process of opening/closing, with text on one side slanted up and text on the other side slanted down.
