This is followed by a FYI/further information section, a real-life scenario, quotes from real girls who have dealt with this type of situation, a quiz, and coping strategies. The format will be appealing to young girls, what with the scenarios and quizzes, and the book does offer coping strategies for dealing with different difficult situations. The empowerment chapters--The Power of One (which details what one girl can do to combat meanness at school), and The Power of Several (what several girls can do together to combat meanness)--are particularly useful.… (más)
