J. Vaughn Boone & Phyllis W. Corwin

I met Vaughn Boone at an NDE seminar hosted by Julie Lapham at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. One of the speakers at that seminar was a judge, Stanley Peele, who developed some healing skills as a result of his NDE. I approached Stanley to learn more about his healing experiences but Stanley said there was someone at the conference that was much more skilled at healing. He introduced me to Vaughn who was in his 80s or more at the time. Vaughn was an unassuming person coming across as being very humble. We didn't have an opportunity to talk much. At the end of the conference Vaughn found me and gave me a copy of his book Angels At Work.

I had not had much exposure to metaphysical concepts at the time so when I read his book, I found his stories of healing incredulous. Yet my sense after meeting Vaughn was this was a man who wouldn't make up these stories. I subsequently learned that Vaughn was well known and respected in western NC for his abilities.

After reading the book, I needed to know more. A friend gave me a contact phone number for Vaughn so I called him to ask some questions. Instead, he invited me to join a group of seekers who met twice a month to discuss subjects like healing and the Law of Attraction. It was through these meetings that I got to know Vaughn and appreciate the contribution he was making to lifting awareness about the breadth of our underlying spiritual nature.… (más)
