This is an outstanding workbook, particularly strong on sentence and paragraph construction.

At first glance this seems to be an easy book to understand. There are only 3 sections, writing independent clauses, writing clause groups and pargraphs, and finally writing an entire theme. There is an emphasis on "meaning relationships" and"clause-groups". The authors claim to be providing original information. They claim "this is thefirst thorough snalysis ever made of the structure of clause-groups and paragraphs."

However, there are many examples, tests, and were one to fully absorb and apply the material in this short workbook for writing he or she would certainly become a better writer… (más)
