Shocking, raw, honest, beautiful. Difficult to read under the current COVID-19 circumstances.

This was exactly my kind of book. It had romance, babies and love in it. I liked the characters a lot and even though the beginning was very sad, it made the book even better. It made the ending more special, at least in my opinion. Even though, it's fiction, it makes me, a hopeless romantic, believe in love even more. I also liked the plot. It's kind of unique and I haven't really read anything like it yet. It was totally worth the read.

Jess has had a hard go of it, after her honeymoon her husband is murdered and she finds out she's pregnant, right out of a lifetime movie. Dan is there to help and be a rock for her and her child. Dan was also the murderers brother, crazy lifetime twist. This book had me teary eyed throughout it. It was an easy read a little predictable and not very realistic but it was a nice break from real life.

Really? I know this is a short story but the ending left me hanging...I want more! I really hope it was a little bit longer. But oh well...it's really a nice story even if it was too short.
