Can I Tell You About Dyslexia? A Guide for Friends,… por Alan M Hultquist
An easy-read guide to dyslexia aimed at a young dyslexic child or to help understanding by peers and siblings. Reassuring information in a nice story.
If you are looking for a short introduction to dyslexia and a list of effective interventions, this is the right book. There are chapters on the different "varieties" of dyslexia, mainly differentiated by the manifesting symptoms. There is a chapter on diagnosis and one on legal issues - though that would be a weakness to the book because the author is addressing a worldwide audience so everything is rather vague. Still as a quick and easily understood introduction, it is a good one.
