With main dish ingredients like duck, quail, veal, offal and fluke, I wouldn't rely on this as a go-to everyday dinner cookbook, but it is lovely to have for inspiration and weekend feasting. The rustic elegance of the food photography is gorgeous and does a wonderful job of paying homage to the quality of the food without getting all fussy. A nice addition to the kitchen library of adventurous carnivores who also love fresh pasta.
