Hannah Hodgson

Hannah Hodgson is a writer living with a life limiting illness. She has been published by BBC Arts, The Poetry Society and Magma amongst other outlets. Her first full collection (163 Days) was published by Seren in 2022 and adapted into a play for BBC Sounds, as well as being was Highly Commended in the Forward Prize for 2022. She won Northern Writers Awards for Poetry in 2020 and 2022. In 2021 she won The Diana Legacy Award in recognition of her advocacy and social action work. As well as her first collection, she has authored three other pamphlets: Dear Body (Wayleave, 2018), Where I'd Watch Plastic Trees Not Grow (Verve, 2021) & Queen of Hearts (Poetry Business).
