SECRETS ON THE LEVELS an addictive crime thriller… por David Hodges
"Secrets on the Levels" is the fifth novel in the Detective Kate Hamblin series. Unfortunately, like many series with many instalments, this was just the same old. Nothing has really changed since the first novel. Kate is still impulsive, her boss is obnoxious and the way her husband continually calls her 'old girl' is insulting. I think it is time for Kate and I to part company.

I have enjoyed this series starring Kate Hamblin to date but this one felt old - there was nothing new. As usual, Kate made some stupid mistakes and I was not too fond of how she treated her husband, Hayden. However, the way he called Kate 'old girl' grated on my nerves. I am not sure whether I will bother with any more books in this series, but we'll see.
This Kate Hamblin series is getting better and better. I have just borrowed books 4, 5 and 6 as I thought this one was the best to date.
