I skimmed the hell out of this book. So much. I read the previous one and had to get to this one. It also held the same crappy tropes as the previous one but in the end all the "twists" were seen miles away and the conflicts were "super easy, barely an inconvenience".

Some parts of this story were amazing and others I struggled with. I loved the push and pull of Riley and Misha. I hated and loved Misha. The bullying scenes shouldn't have enticed me the way that it did but did they ever. My issues with the book came about because of the secret society. It just didn't make sense, even though I really really really wanted it to and that detracted from the story. Had that made sense, I would've ranked this book much higher because the suspense and push-pull of the characters were exemplary.
I will be looking for more from the author in the future because the good parts of a feisty girl and an over-the-top possessive guy we're fantastic.… (más)
