low-key feeling guilty for enjoying this

There's actually some decent world building in this, for such a short book. The story was absolutely charming. Lovely characters. I think it could have used a bit more fleshing out, a bit more body, but it was a lovely read, so I'm going for 5 stars.

I enjoyed this story. The plot line was interesting and convoluted enough to hold my attention. The characters were developed to an acceptable level. Worldbuilding and context were a bit hit-and-miss. The flaw for me was that the 'role reversal' for Haydn could be seen coming a mile away.
