Just what I expected from this author and series - which is fine as this is what I wanted to fill my waiting time at the dentist - Book popcorn. Book Popcorn is a snack book - a quick uncomplicated, feel-good story that does not have depth, development, or create thought. Just something to read when you need something to fill a gap and that will not kill you if you misplace it.

I have read the entire series to this point, so I had solid expectations - except it wasn't anything like I expected. I expected super sweet and fluffy, with little angst. No real character development, but a straightforward plot that while simple, would be knitted together with few holes. Instead, this book is more like a 'draft.' It is aiming for the super sweet, but there are major holes and it just feels unfinished. It just does not work as is and needs major rewriting.

A quick, sweet read that could have been so much more if it was not stuck in an unedited novella form. Just no room to develop the characters or the plot and poor editing really hurt the flow.

The book is an excellent example of the series - sweet -- light - no angst. A quick happy read for an overcast day. Guaranteed no pain, no drama, and a happy ending with babies. Characters are simple, the storyline straightforward forward, and the world-building minimal - it is all about the feel-goods. Sex is talked around or euphemized.
