This is a lovely book, colorful, and full of great ideas. It makes you feel good just picking it up and looking at it. Provides the inspiration to get out the artist supplies and create. This is on my list to "reread".

This is a good book if you want to understand the various media available for drawing and painting. There's a lot of very basic information here about media, surfaces, brushes and pens and techniques. Lots of good and helpful pictures. However, just when I found myself wanting a little more information, I'd be at the end of the section. So I recommend previewing from a library before buying. It might not have enough to be worth referring back to.
