Dan Harrison

I expected a book about rescuing paintings, but it's all about avoiding the need for rescue. Starting from simple questions, Harrison explains what makes a good painting and how you can improve your own efforts. Sometimes the tips seem evident and yet I have not applied them before, so... The artwork is not spectacular, but provides good illustrations of the points he makes, and even if you do not care much for Harrison's style, his tips are really helpful.
I got this book from the library but I've put it straight on my wish list - I have to take too many notes.… (más)
