I've been wanting to read this book since I saw it and it did not disappoint. 1950s, Southern fiction, coming of age book and a whole lot more in this book.

At first it was just a normal book with fantasy tendings but then it got really crazy with not only the cicadas but other things with Grace, Annaliese and Etta Mae and Wessie.

I'm perplexed by the epilogue, and not sure if I figured it out but it was sure interesting and the book itself too.… (más)
