While the non-linear timeline is confusing at points, I appreciate that the author did not want to write another biography on Steve McQueen and this jumping around is a way to ensure that this book remains one of facts, not narrative. That being said, I think this book is best served for those readers who have a base knowledge of McQueen already and are looking for a fun fact/trivia companion. Overall, it feels like the book could use a good editing - better word choice (specifically more sophisticated words in certain areas), less exclamation points, and a deep read through to ensure the facts are in an order that makes sense. The facts feel disjointed because they are given only semi-chronological; oftentimes I found myself needing more details to understand a fact, and the details cropped up a dozen numbers later.
