Usually in a book like this I can find at least one thing I'd be interested in making. This one is the exception, though it's gorgeously photographed and clearly written. I just didn't like anything in it. Maybe the Brit sensibility doesn't resonate with me? But this stuff isn't attractive to my eye. A windbreak made of blue jeans? No. A pennant banner made of old cloth? No.
