This book was essential background, too general and well-known (among DC long-timers and history buffs) for any book on Cooperation Between Communities In Washington, DC. It provides crucial to the context of how the old Federal City became the modern Washington, DC, with its melding of Southern Culture which is now largely unknown, even to many District residents.

The outdoor sculpture of Washington, D.C.:ba… por James M. Goode

The months spent over 2010 and 2011 walking these sites, particularly finding the A. Philip Randolph statue while scouting Union Station, were though-provoking. Reflection on the value, and purposes, of public statuary should be part of tours and tour-guide training.
