Argh! I can't wait for the next book in this series!

Mercedes Lackey's Last Pawn series is one of my favorite series of all time. Vanyel was my hero as a young teen. Her other books have often been good, but not quite on the same awesomeness level.

I got this book (all three, actually) as part of the Fantasy Bundle. Fast paced, interesting and intriguing - curious where it will go!

A good follow-up- slowly getting to know these new characters and the world they inhabit. I like the Agoraphobic Victoria Victrix and how she creates solutions to her problems instead of letting the phobias win all the time.
