If anything, this is a little too accurately from the point of view of a dog, and he goes on at length about dog things throughout the story. That is a lovely little bit of surreal silliness that I think will be appealing to the intended audience. Love that this reflects a modern Native family. Love that the family members are so good to each other. They mystery was predictable and a little over the top. Enjoyable, but felt long for a short book.

A happy but thoughtful read aimed at “tweens” (I think). A Story about a young girl’s 11th summer adventures, with her lemonade stand, family, neighbors and Elvis. She learns valuable lessons about earning and saving money, the kindness of neighbors, and that our family is often the people who love and care for us – not necessarily our biological parents.
