Ralph Freidman writes a enthralling book about his time in one of the most dangerous precincts in New York City. He says what he thinks and isn’t afraid to be blunt, but also owns up to his mistakes.
Non fiction. This was interesting. It felt dated as I read it, but that didn't detract from the information. Each chapter was an independent anecdote or tale, so it was easy to put it down and pick it up again later.
