This book is directed towards young women, and provides practical business advice to help them get their careers moving. Though directed towards women, there are definietly some lessons throughout this book that are applicable to both genders.

With these kinds of books one takes what is useful to you and disregards the rest. The vast majority of this book was not relevant to me but it was still there was some good information. The technology stuff was out of date but that is always the case.

Really useful career advice doled out in readable prose, peppered with lots of real life working stories. Great for recent grads and women with a few years' work experience too.

This is a very useful book for women thinking about going out on their own. Demystifies the business world. Written in the vernacular. Tons of information and resources listed.
