The usefulness of any field guide has to do with how easily the information can be accessed. In actual fact this densely packed little guide, containing almost 200 trees and tall shrubs, is very well laid out and cram-packed with full colour illustrations that make identification quick and simple. It even spares a few lines to describe some common facts concerning distribution and origins of each specimem.
