It's hard to go wrong with a friends to lovers storyline, and the author really nailed it with Taking the Alpha King. If you enjoy shifting books then this one is a great choice, and it had a fresh and engaging storyline that made it a fast and enjoyable read. It does say that it's Book 1 in a series and the ending is set-up for at least a sequel, so hoping to move deeper into the fantastical world that Tina has created with the next book up in the series!
