James Donald Faulk

A beautifully bound book despite its typewritten feel. The author is an amateur who is well acquainted with his subject matter and with experiential pedagogy. The history of the language and comparisons with modern metropolitan french are sadly lacking.

The book is marred by its use of a "phonetic" system for representing Cajun French. Anyone acquainted with metropolitan French, or in fact any non-English language, will find this more confusing than helpful.
