E.V. Everest

E.V. is a new to me author. After reading this book I will be checking out other books by this author. I loved this book so much. Once, I started reading, I could not stop. I started and finished it in one day. Instantly, I was connected to the characters, and I had a clear vision of what they looked like as well as the world the story took place in.

It is not easy being green, especially when you are cursed to live life as a frog. Forrest knows this firsthand. Forrest and Georgia's first meet and greet was nice. Forrest was a gentleman, so when he waltzed to her dad and demanded that Georgia is his, that took me a bit by surprise but at the same time I loved Forrest claiming Georgia.

The slow burn romance was perfect. There is not a lot of steam but that one moment between these two was enough for me. Kissed by Songs of Lilies is the chef's kiss!… (más)

Ink & Incantation: An Enchanting YA Anthology Featuring Books & Libraries, #1), my second read from author E.V. Everest. After reading Seven Crowns (Bellaton, #1), I was up for another read from this author. Enjoyable, well-written collection of 33 YA Sci-Fi and Fantasy short reads from a group of well-read authors with links to that author at the end of their contribution. “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." This is not my typical fantasy read, but it was so fun! Mailey was your typical teenager trying to juggle too many things, except add magic lessons and matchmaking to her part-time job and school. The coven was hilarious. They seemed frightening at first, but after the took Mailey's potion, so funny! Mailey's non-magic parents were also charming. Overall short, but great vibes. I would definitely read this author again.
