Loved, Loved, Loved It. Two completely different people come together and both find more then they ever thought could happen. Great characters, (both good and bad) just enough side stories about other people to guarantee that there are more books to come. Woo Hoo, I'm looking forward to reading them

I received a copy of this free in exchange for an impartial review and just loved it!

This is the story of Ashland Peters who has survived a tragic and abusive childhood with the help and support of her best friend Nash Porters (who happens to be a Werewolf shifter). She has not only come through her gruelling childhood, but has gone on to become a Detective in the New York Police Department. Nash has found family in Colorado and works at their lodge, which is where Ashland meets up with him again whilst at a convention being held there.

When Ashland arrives she is overjoyed to catch up with Nash but very confused by her strong feelings of attraction for his cousin the local Alpha Larken. Larken realizes from their first meeting that she is his fated Mate and will do all he can to both claim and protect her.

To some readers this might seem a bit predictable, but Bryce throws the kidnapping of young female Werewolves by a group of rogue Shifters into the mix. Ashland realizes that she can help, and meets Larken's twin, who is also the local sheriff, to see what can be done, but he is fighting the attraction that he feels for his brother's mate.

This for me was a very good read. It's a romance involving shifters yes, but we are also given a storyline that for me at least was original. I thoroughly enjoyed the way Ashland held her ground, and thought she was both strong and likable. The supporting characters were also fleshed out and interesting, and I would like to read more about them.

If you like to read hot romances then this is the book for you, but if you also want an adventure then why not give it a go?

LITERAL ADDICTION's Associate Reviewer gives Once Forgotten, Twice Loved a solid 4 Skulls.

Perfect Reflection is the first book I have read by the authors Jana Leigh and Bryce Evans and is also the first in their Shifter Justice series.

It's the tale of police detective Jewel Campbell (a werewolf) and her case involving a serial killer who murders women in both Atlanta and New York. During her investigation she meets Retten(New York Alpha) and Lex(his Beta)and realizes that they are both her destined Mates. Strong evidence points to Retten being the killer and the attraction between them makes it vital that Jewel get to the truth and catch the murderer as her life is also in danger.

This is a book that ticks a lot of boxes really. It's essentially a shifter tale but its also a mystery and could even be referred to as romantic suspense as there is a very strong storyline. It also features ménage which could put it in the erotica category.

Red herrings are thrown around enough that the fast paced story keeps the pages turning and the passion between the threesome will please many readers. The epilogue sets up nicely for the next instalment which hopefully will feature Jewels partner Vander Collins.

For me, the writing was a little jumpy at times and perhaps did not flow as easily as some books do. I really wanted Retten to be more Alpha male also, but understand that the authors wanted to get across that he was prepared to share the love of his life with his best friend.

LITERAL ADDICTION's Guest Reviewer thoroughly enjoyed this tale, will be looking out for the next book in the series, and gives Perfect Reflection 4 Skulls.
