The book covers a variety of herbal supplements that may have effects on the brain. The authors treat the subject with scientific objectivity. Each supplement is covered by discussing its description, botany, pharmacology, scientific studies, and outcomes. Generally speaking the efficacy of these supplements are not substantiated and thus use of them is basically by trial and error for the individual. The book is somewhat dry in the presentation, so unless you have specific interest, I would not advise the book.… (más)
