If you're into zombies, Ellie Douglas' short stories of the undead and all their related environment is an enjoyable read. You'll be disturbed and disgusted, which is of course exactly how zombie stories should be.

*****Five Bone-Chilling Stars*****

I am so incredibly thrilled that I got to read this book by the amazing and talented Ellie Douglas. I don't normally read too much horror, but I often find that many horror novels just don't really scare me like the films do other than works by Stephen King etc. However, Ellie Douglas is destined to write horror and she is so incredibly skilled at luring you into a dark and creepy world filled with blood and guts!!!! This book sort of had an American Horror Story Asylum feel mixed with The Walking Dead and who doesn't love zombies?

Here's what I loved:

The story starts off with so much action right from the start. I was immediately drawn into this world and I was constantly on the edge of my seat. I could feel my heart beating through my chest during so many moments and that is because Ellie Douglas is such an amazing storyteller. Think about those creepy campfire tales that you read when you were younger and twist it into something even more disturbing, which may give you some nightmares so be warned!

The main character Willa is fantastic!!! She is strong, resilient, and loyal. I identified with her a lot and I found myself constantly rooting for her.

The other characters are great and I love the way that Ellie weaved their timelines in and out so that the story had so many other dimensions and perspectives.

I loved reading this book from beginning to end and I would recommend it to anyone who simply loves horror and gore. This book does not disappoint and I am eager to read other books by the wonderful Ellie Douglas!!!!!

Dr Bloom is supposed to help people, but instead he kills them by using their fears against them. This is quite gory and descriptive as Dr.Bloom uses spiders, fear of flying and more to torture his patients while pretending to help them.
There was a good story, although on occasion there were some grammar issues, but If you enjoy horror, then this is the book for you.

LOVIN’ THAT COVER

Hello. Meet Felix. He’s a genius. But he is all evil.

Have a phobia. He wants to know about it, then use it against you.

Let me count the ways a person can die.

Each chapter begins with a morbid picture, hinting at the upcoming torture.

Ellie Douglas will take you on a horror trip that may have you squirming in your seat, brushing imaginary critters from your arm, glancing at flickering shadows out of the corner of your eye…then laughing at your silliness. If you weren’t afraid before, you will be now.

You will need a strong stomach…and maybe a barf bucket.

I loved it…but then so much death, torture, blood and guts, that I needed a break. I actually became bored with it. This is killing, just to kill. I love serial killers and I want to know their motivation, the WHY of it. What made this so necessary for him?

And then…it’s just done. I felt lost…

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of Fear Inducer by Ellie Douglas.
