This is a great book for learning the alphabet but it is also a great book to learn about dinosaurs. Each Dinosaur listed starts with the next consecutive letter of the alphabet and then provides detailed information about that dinosaur across from a brightly colored and well details illustration. Could be used K-5th grade, also great for kiddos who are obsessed with dinosaurs.

Even though younger students understand the concept of dinosaurs, they can not necessarily connect and comprehend the time period as well as upper elementary students can. I would either use this book for a read aloud, or I would let students use the book for independent reading. I believe that the rich descriptions and pictures will help students build their knowledge and understanding of the mesozoic era and the different creatures that lived during this time.… (más)
