910 The Dreyfus Affair: Tragedy of Errors? edited by Leslie Derfler (read 11 Aug 1967) Not too memorable a book on a matter which greatly interested me. THE book to read is The Affair: The Case of Alfred Dreyfus, by Jean-Denis Bredin. I found this out in March of 1986 when I read that great book.

4322. President & Parliament A Short History of the French Presidency, by Leslie Derfler (read 1 June 2007) This was published in 1983. The author is very knowledgeable about modern French history, and edited a book I read Aug 11, 1967, on the Dreyfus Affair. He discusses all the French presidents since Napoleon III, and carefully examines the powers or lack thereof of the office in the years since 1852. Informative and a handy survey of this important aspect of French history.
