This charming set of children's stories is a great gift idea for any child who loves animals. Mrs Morgan takes care of a wide variety of animals until they are either ready to be released to their own habitat or to their “forever families”. Along with the heart warming tales, Mrs Morgan also teaches her young neighbour about the proper care of each of the animals. I enjoyed reading these stories and in my opinion the books belong in every grade school library.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a short story with a lot of emotion. It seems longer than it really is, as you get pulled in and are living the life of the main character. Love that even though there are "colored" references, which would lead you think it was going to be about segregation or a poor "colored" girl. However, this book is about a friendship that is solid and life changing. It is a unique book that by the end you realize you should "never give up or in" -- you never know what will be at the end of your road.… (más)
