Holy smokes! I don't remember the last time I finished a book in just a couple of days. This one was hard to put down.

The MC, Rachel, plays a doctor on a popular TV show. Mikey is a twenty something super fan with the mental capacity of a 10 year old. He becomes OBSESSED with "Dr. Sparks," believing she is a real life doctor. He abducts her with the intent of bringing her to his isolated home to provide medical care of a loved one.

Her numerous attempts to escape had me "gasping," just as promised in the title on Amazon.

I have a few more ARCS I need to read and review, but as soon as I wrap those up, I will be devouring other novels by Abby Davies!

Twisted......................

Arrietty by Abby Davies is a women psychological fiction. The plot develops very slowly hinting you about the mystery here and there. But the action happens after a few pages. The author has tried to develop the characters in a very intricate way. At first the story will give you a feel of a simple story and Arrietty's character is a fabulous one. And, the real thrill starts when you are near the climax. For me it is one of the books for which you need to have patience to enjoy it.

Definitely 4 stars for the book. Thanks to Random Things Tours for providing me with an opportunity to read and review the book.

Mirabelle is her Mother's 'little doll'. Mother dresses her like a doll and paints her face every day. Mirabelle lives in a house where the doors are locked, the windows are boarded and she is not allowed to go outside. Mirabelle loves her mother, until one day she realises that all is not right in the boarded up house.
For a debut novel Mother Loves Me knocked my socks off. Abby's writing kept me hooked throughout with her fast-paced chapters, unpredictable twists and jaw-dropping scenes. I literally could not put this psychological thriller down and Mother Loves Me will be embedded in my mind for a very long time. It's creepy, sinister and brilliant!… (más)
