I mean I had fun reading this. It was a lot like a Marvel movie. We had action, violent demon creatures, and an attack on planet Earth where the good guys have to fight together to protect everyone they can.
There were many moments in which I laughed out loud as Morgalla, a female demon, discovers humans on Earth and studies them on behalf of her father, who is a powerful being of Hell. Her reactions and behaviors are strange to those around her and she can't seem to find where she truly belongs.… (más)

I felt that the writing in this book was a bit choppy and it bounced around a bit too much for me. But....as a full disclosure, books that do a lot of back and forth where I have to keep in mind everything are just difficult for me to read in this season of my life - I have ten children who are often interrupting my reading time. So I want to be fair to this author. I get the overall story line - which I thought was good. I liked the characters, I even liked the idea of the book. Just the back and forth was a bit difficult for me to follow. So....I have it on my list of books to revisit later in the year, maybe this summer even. I want to give it another chance and will hopefully rewrite this review with higher stars.… (más)
