Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer is a beloved Christmas classic read by many throughout the world. This is a Golden Book from 1972 that has a unique cut out shape. It's called a Golden Super Shape Book. Golden books are timeless classics that remind me of my childhood. The beloved character of Rudolph feels left out and rejected until he finds his unique place in his society. This heart warming tale gives hope to all that we all have our part to play. We all have a role to play in our world and in our communities. I would use this story around Christmas time in my classroom. I normally don't read/review children's books but I found this gem at a yard sale and I lived by the town in the title so I had to get it and read it. It was a cute story about a farm boy who turned mean when he realized he wasn't growing fast enough. There was another town in PA mentioned in the book which made me smile and reminiscent. All in all, a great children's book and a fun read.
