Close Up: A Photo-Motivated Text consists of thirty-four units containing high-interest photographs that were selected to inspire emerging writers. Students are motivated to discuss the scenes in the photos; assume active roles as analyzers, interpreters, or evaluators of the persons or objects presented; and generate written compositions based on their involvement. This text is recommended for intermediate to advanced learners of English who wish to improve their writing skills.
