I really liked the third book in this series but didn't like this one at all.
I really enjoyed this. I loved both Noah and Rook (although my favourite was Rook) and the way their story unfolded. Their friendship was fantastic and I liked getting to see their early friendship. The romance between them was sweet and fluffy before getting steamier. There's no real angst or drama and it was definitely the right book at the right time. 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.
Well written but terribly predictable. This was my first book by this author so it is difficult to assess writing style.

Phoenix is a dancer in a strip club. His dreams of becoming a songwriter in Nashville are behind him. Nix is covered in tattoos and he lives next door, coincidentally, to his tattooist.
The tattooist's nephew, Archer West, is spending his College summer break helping out at the shop. Long story short, Phoenix, who has been around the block many times, falls for Arch, who has never been around any block.
It's a little far fetched that the worldly Phoenix, who has never been in love, falls for innocent Arch, and quickly, and they are transported. But it's ok. The author holds it together sufficiently that despite its fairytale nature, I was still invested in these two finding true love, a purposeful life and a HEA.… (más)
