This is a good cookbook for vegetarians with a hankering for some old home-style favorite. A great deal of Classic American cooking is unfriendly to vegetarian palates, and this book helps bridge that gap so that vegetarians can enjoy the same old home favorites as others. (I also recommend this to Catholic moms looking for something other than tuna casserole to make on Fridays... lots of kid-friendly options.)
