Boxcar Bertha por Barbara Hershey
Hershey sets a standard for sex appeal that has never been equalled, before or since. Carradine gives an effective, constrained performance. Barry Primus and Bernie Casey are superb. This early Scorsese film doesn't have a strong narrative, it is just a series of out of control events leading to a horrifying climax. But it's fun until the end....
Wow! I can see this book being made into a thriller of a movie.
New Orleans journalist Wes Colvin was supposed to meet someone that tipped him via telephone that he wanted to tell him about the "deduct box". It was a good thing that Wes was late to that meeting and what follows next is thrill and danger upon more death. Does everything relate to an assassination that happened 50 years ago? Most of the people are dead or being killed, so who does it matter that much to? Who is behind the recent tragedies? I literally could not put it down!… (más)
