This is a colorful, picture book with different signs for everyday food we eat. It describe fruits, vegetable, protein, drinks and even junk food. Fruits include peach, pear, pineapple, orange, etc. Protein like ham, fish, eggs, and bacon. Under junk food they have chips, cake, popcorn, and candy. But there are all kind of photograph and pictures of the familiar food we all love to eat.

I took this book around to all age groups. Starting with my one year old all the way to the 9 years old. Everyone had there favorite sign that they learn real quickly. It was fun to show the two years old the picture and see they attempt to do the sign for. Of course everyone knew what French fries are, so when we had fries for lunch we had them show the sign for fries. And milk was another good one. I think even a one year old learned that one. But all age group learned at lease on sign to show there parents that day.

Well I already explain the activity I did with the kids. I had them learn at lease on sign for each day of the week. It was easier to learn on motion versus letters in there name. We went over why people us sign language. And I have them pick out a favorite sign out of the book.
