I received this as a Library Thing review copy with no expectation of a favourable review. Niki is a Canadian emergency rescue worker who indulges in Parcour and other risky behaviour. She is on an extended vacation in France. Luc is a teacher who works in Canada and visits the same region of France every year. The title A Forged Affair,relates to the village blacksmith and the work he creates on his forge, and how Niki - and eventually Luc - get together to aid the blacksmith find the love he so dearly desires. Of course in the meantime, Luc and Niki realise that they love each other and not only that they live streets apart in Canada. A stock standard romance, a little over the top.… (más)
