This is a collection of short stories by amazing authors that takes place in Winter Falls. It is a great way to immerse yourself in some super steamy, insta love, holiday reads. These are the ones I have read so far but I intend to go back and read them all because they are so cute and fun.

Lincoln and Bethenny by Fiona Davenport
Lincoln is traveling to Winter Falls to spend Christmas at his friend’s parents house but a turn of bad luck has him delayed, missing his rental car, no hotel room, and stranded in a blizzard. This bad luck seems to turn into good luck when he finds a house that not only has a generator but the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Bethenny is the mayor of Winter Falls and has a heart of gold especially when she decides to help a complete stranger take shelter in her home. Their attraction is instantaneous and they can’t fight it at all so they decide to let things play out. The steam is off the charts, their connection is instant, and they fall easily for each other. This was such a steamy yet cute read and a great way to introduce us to Winter Falls.

Nicholas and Quinn by Frankie Love:
Nicholas has left his family behind to spend a Christmas away from their meddling and conniving ways so he has rented a cabin in Winter Falls. He decides to place call for a delivery of groceries what he doesn’t expect is to find an instant attraction to the other voice on the phone. Quinn helps her grandfather run their local market and when she gets a phone call from a sexy sounding man asking for a (wink wink) big package she knows she just has to make this delivery. Getting stuck during the blizzard with a stranger isn’t what either one expects but things really heat up and they can’t seem to stop their instant love they find. These two were really steamy and instantly fell hard, I loved it!

Gavin and Tory by Rochelle Paige:
These two are one of my favorites because their attraction may be instant but there seems to be something deeper to them. Gavin helps Tory in two different situations and being stranded in a snow patrol safe haven isn’t what they expected but it does bring them closer together. As things heat up they can’t deny what is happening between them and neither of them want to let it go. Tory’s ex best friend has caused her trouble and I was glad to get to see that closure and the way Gavin also stood up with her. These two are perfect for each other.

A great insta-love anthology
4 Stars

I’m a bit of a sucker for sticky sweet and sexy insta-love stories so this anthology sounded perfect. Even better, it’s set in Key West at the destination wedding of Avery and Gabe whose own story is currently available as a free prequel. There’s no need to have read it before reading these stories, though.

From there we get to hear the stories of the friends and relatives of the happy couple as they too find their happily ever afters in the Florida heat.

While each story is different, all are filthy hot, super sweet and come with a delicious happily ever after. We get some obsessive heroes, friends who become lovers, a stepbrother romance, a few age gap romances, some curvy girls, a cowboy and so much more. It’s basically a book smörgåsbord of tropes.

We get a small introduction and ending by Elle Christensen and the rest of the stories are as follows:

Fiona Davenport writes an older man, younger woman, curvy girl romance with a hero that is ob-sessed as soon as he sets his eyes on the heroine. Smokin’ hot way to kick off this anthology.

Elle Christensen gives us duelling step-siblings who finally give in to their feelings in another deliciously sexy tale.

Hope Ford’s story is of a cowboy crashing the wedding party to win the girl of his dreams whose heart he broke 7 years before. A somewhat weak effort compared to our first two tales but still alright.

Hannah McBride’s sweet and sexy story is of two former high-school nemesis (nemeni?) who feel the heat this time around and realise they’re all the other has ever wanted.

Kaci Rose tells the tale of a curvy girl and her older, military penpal who has finally come to claim her. This was another cute tale that had its fair share of heat.

Bella Matthews brings us a friends to lovers, fake-dating, only one bed mash-up that’s as sweet and satisfying as it is hot.

Frankie Love gives us a full-on sex fest when the bride’s uncle is reunited with one of her best friends. Not sure if the story was cut-off or if there was more - but still did what it intended!

C.M. Steele’s double virgin, co-worker, enemies-to-lovers, fake dating concoction came last and it was the only one of the stories that I just didn’t like. Shame to end things on a low.

If you like sweet and dirty tales taking place in a short space of time then you’ll definitely find something in this bunch to float your boat. A few editing issues don’t distract from what is a fun and cute anthology. 4 stars.

Hot, snow-sizzling insta-love anthology
5 stars

Who doesn’t love a Christmas anthology chock-full of festive tales? If you do, and insta-love is your thing, too, then you’re going to adore this fun and sexy anthology.

We start off with an all-encompassing overview of the residents of and visitors to the small mountain resort town of Winter Falls. An unprecedented snowstorm is on its way and there’s mischief afoot. It seems like 9 couples will be finding themselves snowed in together during this blizzard.

The stories we get are by:
by
Elle Christensen
Brynne Asher
Lucy Darling
Fiona Davenport
Hope Ford
Layla Frost
Ella Goode
Frankie Love
Rochelle Paige

The stories are named for the characters and don’t (at the moment at least) have other titles.

Every single story was quick, cosy, festive and really did make you wish to be snuggled up by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows. I’m always happy to read Christmas stories and I just adore it when they give you that delightful, magical festive feeling inside!

These are all insta-love stories so many of our couples have not met each other prior to getting snowed in together somewhere in Winter Falls. Understandably, the connections are instant and the relationships progress at light speed. And we still get happy endings that are more than satisfying.

And speaking of satisfying - these stories are hot enough to melt the snow. They are fan-yourself delicious and exactly what I was hoping for from these authors and an insta-love anthology.

I’ve read most of the authors in this collection before but there are a few that are new to me. I’ll definitely be taking a look at other stories from them. While each story was similar in many ways - snowed in, insta-love, often a virgin involved, they were all different enough to keep things interesting. I honestly enjoyed each and every story in this set and will happily recommend this anthology to anyone who loves any of the authors involved or just wants a Christmas, insta-love fest. It’s sexy, magical and such a fun read. Definitely 5 stars.

Happily Ever Alpha Kindle Worlds is based on the bestselling Until Series by Aurora Rose Reynolds.

Nick and Rayne.
We met Nick in Until November when Asher warned him off her when he took an interest before Asher had convinced November they were a thing.

The book was okay.

It is very insta for Nick, he has caught the 'Boom', Rayne feels the attraction but she has always been a rolling stone and struggles to think she could settle somewhere.

Brief appearances from November, Liz and Trevor.

I love anything that has K Webster's name on it, and it's an easy guarantee that I will read it. When I ran across this one, I knew I had to read it and I was so happy that I did.

Joss' dad has created a computer program that is highly desired by a lot of people. Because of that, she is kidnapped and nearly tortured to get a password for it.

Gideon is the man who kidnaps her for money, and then saves her when the man behind it wants to start cutting off her fingers.

Derek Slade is a bar owner who is tasked with keeping Joss safe. He sets her up as Jill and as a waitress in his bar. Then, he starts to fall for her.

This story is hot and it has twists and turns in it, enough to keep you going and guessing. The chemistry between Derek and Joss is strong and the relationship that they built is awesome. I love this story. Anything K touches is great, and Elle Christensen is going to be on my list from now on.

I wasn't sure what I was going to get when I started this book. There was a lot to unpack. However, there was angst, love, and growth in the characters. Very unexpected but still nice to read.

I'll look for more from this author in the future.

ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

Love in Fantasy is Elle Christensen's novel in the Skeleton Key collection. It's a little different than you might expect though, because it's twelve fairytales rolled into one. Oliver must have Pippa, he knows she's the one the instant he saw her. Things become a lot more difficult when she poses a dilemna about being unable to marry without her 11 older sisters married first. Willing to try anything to get her, Oliver finds himself trusting the magic of a skeleton key he calls Wilhelm. The key beguns to weave tales of love for all the girls, but will the magic stop at 11 or will it work on Oliver and Pippa as well?

Images in the flames? For fuck's sake, is this Harry Potter now? I had hoped we'd confined this lunacy to fairy tales.

If you like over-the-top insta-love and some of the steamiest smut scenes around, Love in Fantasy is the book for you. The fairytales are reminscent of your favorites, from Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermiad to the Princess and the Pea and Snow White. It's a mixture of modern romance and the sweet, exaggerated romance of olden days. The men are alphas to the core, the ladies smarter than your average damsel in distress, and the stories are totally unique takes on your childhood favorites. It'll have you laughing, sometimes rolling your eyes, and fanning yourself at the heat. It's the kind of book you can escape into, a skeleton key itself, to a whole new world you never would have dreamed of.

Almost like a magnetic pull, she can tell the key and the door are connected.

I really struggled with the first person POV in this one, I felt like it wasn't consistent and switching between so many characters, 24 to be exact, was hard to keep up with. While still a magical story, the writing style and several of the errors made it hard for me to consitently follow along.

I can't deny the power of love at first sight after meeting Philippa St. Claire. In fact, I'm putting a whole lot of faith in the idea right now.

Love in Fantasy is the perfect escape type of book, the kind you curl up in a reading spot with and forget the outside world. It's magical, romantic, hilarious, and blazing with heat, as well as all the HEA's your heart could desire.

I'd like to say I can give a normal book review for this one, but I just can't. Here's what I can do: Describe exactly what happened while I read this book, starting with my terrible decision to open it while I was on my treadmill.

It's 6pm on a Wednesday and I have had one of those rough work days you bring home with you. I fully intended to use the treadmill to get out some frustrations so the SO and I could have a peaceful dinner and watch one of our shows. I had finished an ARC book earlier in the day, so didn't have anything new open and I wasn't feeling the other ARCs on my Kindle. I'm one of those mood readers and when my mood is sour I need something that makes me forget. K. Webster, as I recently found out, is one of those authors that writes books that make me forget. I typed her name into my tablet, found the set of 4 books that I have yet to read and just clicked one. I didn't double check the synopsis or reviews, just picked one. That book ended up being Give Me Yesterday, by K. Webster and Elle Christensen, which I would have known was an ugly cry kind of book had I just taken five extra minutes.

Here we are on the treadmill, we are reading about this high school aged couple who have a child, this is cute, it isn't what I expected, but it's cute. I'm at 3.5 MPH right now, just getting into my pace, when BAM, K. Webster and Elle Christensen rip the foundation out right from under you. I gasp mid step and have to pause my treadmill. To myself I think, "this is one of those books I am not going to make it through with out ugly crying, I should pick another book, this is not a good night to read this book." I happen to be one of those people who ignores my own common sense and advice.

It has now been two miles and just enough time to get me about 40% through, I am liking the characters and I like the general direction this is going. Ice Queens are my favorite type of heroines and hot men with sordid pasts always make my stomach get butterflies, so of course I am totally loving Tori and Chase. I have laughed several times, I've definitely figured out there's going to be ridiculously hot sex between these two, and I've forgotten that I am reading a Webster book. THIS IS A BIG MISTAKE.

Since I am now fully immersed in this book I have cancelled all plans of human interaction with my SO and he has resigned himself to the couch with a movie (and a beer) where I later join him with my tablet. I am literally ignoring everything, I even decline our dinner plan in exchange for soup and a sandwich, because this is easier and means I can read more. I am fully committed to this book, because I want to see Tori open up about grief and I want to see her do for Chase what he did for her. While I both feel for Tori and her grief, I think it's been too long for her and I am thrilled to see her living. I am also thinking Chase is awful deep inside and really starting to think he probably is an insane person and everything is going to be all twisted up. I am getting glee out of knowing something big is coming. I've now promised my SO I will take a shower and actually put the book down in exchange for watching Agent Carter, or he'll watch with out me, and this will start a fight. No book is worth a fight.

But then it is. As I am getting ready for my shower, nose deep into my tablet, I read a certain scene that leads up to a cemetery. I stop in my tracks, I turn my tablet off, and I ugly cry my way into the shower. I have said out loud, once in the living room, and now again in the bathroom, "I am not finishing this fucking book." Unfortunately, SO isn't done with his movie, and as I settle into the couch to wait for it to end he hands me my tablet and because I am such a glutton for punishment I open up to the page I stopped at. Not only that, I got back about 20 pages and re-read the scene again! I am bawling, I am hiccuping, and I am interrupting the movie to explain, in great detail, what's going on in this book.

Thank goodness K. Webster and Elle Christensen do this thing where they redeem themselves and give me an ending that makes things better. I mean not perfect, because obviously my hearts out on the floor in a million pieces and my face is bright red, but at least I know not all hope is lost. They also happen to write amazing epilogues that make me smile and calm down. Unfortunately, they also are gluttons for punishment and they add in this scene, right at the end of the book, that makes you look at all of this from the other side and guess what, you're crying. Again.

As you can tell from my rating, I loved Give Me Yesterday, it's emotional, it's heart-breaking, it's beautiful, and it's unique. I wasn't expecting anything while I read and when I got to the end, the part that broke my heart, I was truly surprised. Both authors write in such a way that you can't guess what's coming next and that is part of why I love them, and sort of hate them right now. The characters need one another in a way that makes you actually believe in them, you want to see them heal one another, and you want to see them grow into who they've kept themselves from being for so long. I was never bored, there are amazing secondary characters, and I, like always, liked the smut scenes. It's a captivating novel that does not disappoint and I recommend it to any of my fellow readers who like emotional books that suck you in.

Elle has created a really unique world in these books and chasing Hayleigh is no exception. I love the little twist on the fated mate trope. I am a total sucker for fated mates, so to see a different take on it was great! Hayleigh is a great character as well. You see her grow throughout the book and its not forced or rushed. I appreciate that because I love seeing a character develop, but only if its genuine. Brannon-HOT! Holy dirty talking alpha! And he is totally devoted which is another thing I adore in books!
Brannon had a few times when he was a bit on the alpha-asshole side and that annoyed me. Guys who are a little bossy don't bother me. Some of the things Brannon said however kind of made me bristle and I felt it was a bit jerk-ish. However, that only happened maybe twice and it could be me being overly sensitive!
If you are looking for a great, unique PNR, these books should be on the top of your TBR. Elle has created a great story with mystery, suspense, and deep love and Chasing Hayleigh continues in that tradition!
(Side note: the covers for her books are stunning!! Seriously!)

GIVE ME YESTERDAY

Read This Review on your own risk, this is about deleted review posted and deleted 14 Sep 2017!
Here is the deal with said deleted review!

I read this particular book this week and last night decided I’ll quickly do a review!

Then accidently on purpose, I deleted said review, why WOULD I DO THAT

Because said review sucked big time off course, and yes I know I should not have deleted the book from my read list because I lost all the updates and comments from friends but ALAS *GIVE ME BACK YESTERDAY IS NOT POSSIBLE*!

See what happened was the following:

1. I Started typing away on this review directly on GR last night 14 Sep 17, not the usual word document I do, where I copy and paste afterwards – nope straight onto GR, no saved copies, – any screen prints accidently saved on GR will be appreciated!

2. It is my PMS time meaning I sometimes *Post Meaningless SHIT*

3. My 2 Pit-bulls!

a. I have 2 x pit-bulls as most of my friends know both over a year old, one a pure bred and the other well not!
b. Now what did they have to do with said review, absolutely nothing as they did not write said review, but they are part of the mess I created! See while I was typing away on said F@ckup review my dogs started fighting, let me explain what happened
c. I gave the dogs each a big bone to chew on, so my female dog – ate hers in a rush. The Male dog ate his like a true gentleman – problem was after the bitch ate her bone she wanted his bone, he off course was angry as said bitch already had one, then they started fighting over said bone, now have anyone ever seen 2 x pit-bull’s fight – NO – it is scary as shit, and as my male dog is not a proper pit-bull he usually looks much worse after the bitch decides he’s a shitty partner, do not fret they just fight until their hormones settle – go read up about why dogs fight!
d. Now usually I have some water nearby – they hate it if I pour said water all over them when they fight! Let’s be honest there is no way I will try to pull them apart, those dogs are strong and scary when fighting, BUT alas I love them both so I forgive shit like that easily, and they feel so guilty about fighting with each other that they lick each other for hours nonstop.
e. So last night there was no water nearby as I was in the study, but I did have a glass of Coca Cola nearby – and NO I do not drink Diet coke hate the taste! So the next moment I emptied my glass of Coca Cola on them. Sounds like a good solution – NO was a shitty solution BUT the dogs did stop fighting with no damage to their furs, so it was a good solution at the time
f. The thing is if you pour said Coca Cola on the dogs everything is on floor and the walls as well, Coco Cola is sticky and yes it was a mess! I left like that for another 10 minutes! UNTIL!!

4. My husband was not at home when said dog incidents happened, the next moment he drove into the driveway and what did I do – I posted the review, because instead of cleaning up the Coca Cola mess I kept on typing said review until I heard his car.

5. After an hour off cleaning Coca Cola mess I had this weird feeling I must really read what I posted and said on said review.

6. AND OMG I made so many grammar errors, okay I always do! But that grammar was especially bad on that one! Then I edited the grammar errors and reposted said review, then after another hour I thought “hmm that was really an f@ckup review, and people will think I am a nut case or something” and I decided I needed to start over – PROBLEM was it was past bed time so I rather deleted it book read included!

And that my friends are how I accidently and on purpose deleted the review!

K. Webster written a book recently that created quite a stir! I do not go according to rumors. I read whatever I want whenever I want to, that book caused some opinions from readers which were according to me a bit unfair as it is a fictional book with fictional characters and an idea that went to shit, but I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinion!

See what I cannot understand about social media is, that people can blow up a situation or something so bad that they can ruin said person without knowing them, maybe they think they know the person, or they can form opinions about the person but that is just what it is – OPINIONS! In my opinion we ALL done something that people can chat about for days on end, I did, and yes I would apologize if it will mean anything to anyone, just say when or where and I will apologize, but what I learned is to most offended people apologizing will mean nothing!

As the saying goes those who care does not matter and those who matter do not care!

The review

This book is currently freebie and it is awesome, and written by 2x authors Elle Christensen and K Webster. I cannot recall when I cried so much as in this book, I cry when I am sad, when I am angry, sometimes when I am extremely happy. But mostly when I am angry! In this book I cried because it broke my heart for Victoria and what happened to her when she was 18!

I think the parts of the book that K. Webster wrote was Victoria POV. But I can be wrong!

You need to meet Chase – he is a total alpha dirty talker and off course my bb, and Vitoria is a broken but strong ice queen who does not let anyone break that ice barrier – until Chase!

Synopsis:
High powered divorce lawyer, Victoria Larkin, is known as the ice queen. Tough. Emotionless. What they don’t know, is that ten years ago, she lost everything. Including her hope for the future.

Chase Monroe struggles with his own demons. Devastated by guilt and on a mission to correct his past, he uses his skills as a college psychology professor to help others move beyond their grief.

When Victoria is forced to attend grief counselling, she meets Chase, and there is an instant attraction. Chase is determined to help her confront her past and find happiness. Victoria is afraid to relive her pain.

Just as they begin to step forward, tragedy strikes and throws them backwards, and they find themselves, once again, shackled to the past.

Can Chase and Victoria find the path to a happy future together? Or will they forever be wishing for yesterday?

**Recommended 18 due to language and sexual content

To the authors:
I loved this book and it was according to my standards a 5 star read, go read it to decide for yourself, it is worth it and at this point of time free!

All I Want is a new novella in the Fiona Davenport Sex, Vows & Babies kindle world. Multiple authors have released a cross from their own writing and tie in the Yeah, Baby novella's.
All I Want by Elle Christensen was nothing shy of brilliance! This author continues to impress me with her never ending 5 STAR novellas.
As I have already read all of the Yeah, Baby stories... I was happy to see names reappear in this book and mingle with new ones. The characters are well developed and highly likable. Please note that a reader does not have to have read these prior and will be just as satisfying being read as a standalone.
This was a captivating short read that I could not put down. It was filled with a swooning plot and sexy scenes. Let me say that again, HOT & STEAMY scenes that will make your jaw drop. Wink Wink. The main character is a hot, alpha male that wants his woman and so he does just that. "Mine."
The epilogue pulled it together in a heartwarming way, leaving no stone unturned and left me feeling like I just read a full length romance novel.
Would I recommend All I Want by Elle Christensen? Absolutely, in a heart beat!!!

Abbi has always been cautious and careful, until her friend drags her on a spring break vacation that will change everything.
From the moment she meets Logan, Abbi decides to throw caution to the wind and make the most out of her vacation. Some fun is just what she needs to let loose and to ditch her "V" card out the window.
After an exciting week in Florida, time has come to head back to Boston. Little does Abbi know... Logan is headed to the same place.
How can Abbi separate it all? Can something so wrong turn out to be - Oh So Right!?

Elle Christensen went above and beyond executing such a hot novella. Each page was packed with sex, romance and drama. Even though this was a short read, it finished as though this was a full length novel I will admit that it also left me with quite a book hangover. Yes, it was THAT hot!
Not only did Elle write a delicious "taboo" love affair, but also was able to tie in friendships, family troubles and much more. Spring Fling was a smooth read and left me wishing that there was more, yet also with a sense of fulfillment.
I have never been one to read novella's, yet this author completely changed my mind. Recently, I have devoured every novella that I could get my hands on by Elle Christensen.
FYI - you may get addicted ;)

A gut wrenching prologue in which the heroine suffers devastating losses then the book time jumps ten years which finds Victoria Larkin now a high powered divorce attorney but completely emotionally shut off and has closed herself off from family. Tori’s refusing to deal with her grief even after all this time has landed in hot water with her boss when she blows up during a meeting with clients which gets her sent to long overdue grief counseling.

Chase Monroe is a college professor who also heads a grief therapy group. As a reader we know he just doesn’t just run the group but he is also a member but we are not told what traumatic thing happened in his past. He is immediately drawn to Tori and vies to get her past her icy exterior. His wooing of her was quite sexy. Both of them have deep seated grief and help the other start on the road to accepting the traumatic things that happened to them in the past.

There is a huge detour for both before they are finally able to get that long overdue happily ever after but it was bittersweet once they finally do.
