Well, I found myself rushing through it. I am giving it 3 stars because I liked the setting of a crabbing boat, but it was a little too predictable and not quite angsty enough for me. Maybe to much "tell" and not enough "show" - the heroine (and hero for that matter) just talked about having baggage more than there was a lot of illustrative behaviors and communication struggles and all that stuff I usually like with this trope. Also, maybe it's just me, but having trust issues isn't like "do I or do I not trust this person?" and then picking one, it is sooooo much more complicated and unconscious than that... I dunno, catered pretty well to one of my favorite themes, but was not quite on the mark for me.… (más)
