This is very sweet -- the most wholesome queer babies being beautiful humans in magic school with familiars and cooking. It's a delightful, cozy fantasy, with lovely art and resolvable conflicts. It's a little more fluff than substance in the storytelling style, but sometimes what you want is a cozy blanket, and here it is.

I loved the combination of cooking and magic, and the idea of a Magiculinary school is super creative! I’d love to see more stories with settings like that.
However, the story as a whole DID have a lot of plot holes and way-too-rapid pacing. Lack of explanation for things and all the jumping around made it all feel pretty surface level. I also think, as happy as the ending is, it was just soooo idealistic that I kinda rolled my eyes.

I def am really enjoyed this one. I loved the witchy setting and also the bking elements. I also really liked the lgbtq elements to the story and how it handled more unique topics like burn out and cretivity and passion, I also just loved how well the divesty was written and it gave me good witch vibes
